The Indiana Recovery and Faith Conference is an annual statewide gathering designed to bridge both faith and secular recovery communities in the shared mission of addressing substance use and mental health disorders. Launched in 2024 with its inaugural conference being held in West Lafayette Indiana, the event
brought together faith leaders, recovery professionals, policymakers, and individuals with lived experience for the first time in Indiana’s history. With worship, film, keynote addresses, and breakout tracks, the inaugural conference set the stage for a movement where faith and secular recovery leaders work hand-in-hand to build recovery-ready communities.

Purpose
The purpose of the Indiana Recovery and Faith Conference is to:

 Unite sectors – connecting churches, secular recovery providers, state/federal leaders, and people with lived experience.

 Equip communities – offering tools, strategies, and resources for congregations and organizations to strengthen recovery supports.

 Standardize Best Practices – increasing the access of education about programs,
services, and resources that are positively impacting communities across the state.

 Foster collaboration – creating new partnerships across systems of faith, health, and justice.

 Build momentum – developing a statewide movement of faith-informed and recovery- driven leadership.
