As a Mental Health First Aider you will acquire the skills to identify, understand, and respond to the signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges among children and adolescents ages 12-18. Training Details: - Learners are required to complete 2 hours online pre-work and attend both virtual training dates on 10/1/24 and 10/2/24 from 10:00AM-12:30PM EST. - Learners fullfilling all training requirements will earn a 3-year certification as a Youth Mental Health First Aider.- Youth Mental Health First Aid is valued at $170.00. In honor of Moblize Recovery Day of Service, Herren Project is offering this training at no cost to the first 30 learners who RSVP for this event.- Note: If you are a prospective Mental Health First Aider, you must wait for an email invitation from an Instructor before you can access the Mental Health First Aid Connect learning management system. You will be added as a learner and given access to the learning management system, pre-work, and zoom link (for the Instructor Led Sessons) on or before 9/24/24.Thank you for choosing to BeTheDifference!
