Join Us for 2025 International Overdose Awareness Day, a free community event dedicated to remembering loved ones lost to overdose and taking action against stigma.

*Resource fair with housing, mental health, & substance use support

*Free naloxone, fentanyl test kits, and training

*Local speakers and a community open mic

*Opportunities to honor loved ones lost to overdose

 

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE...

RESOURCE FAIR: Over 20 community-based organizations will provide resources such as free naloxone kits, fentanyl test strips (FTS), demonstrations on how to properly administer naloxone and/or utilize FTS, housing resources, low barrier medication assisted treatment (MAT) referrals, and harm reduction services. 

COMMUNITY SPEAKERS AND OPEN MIC: Gain insights from esteemed County and City speakers and hear community member stories during a powerful open mic session. Want to share your story? Open mic session is open to all attendees. 

NALOXONE AND FTS TRAINING AND DISTRIBUTION: Free naloxone training, Fentanyl Test Strips (FTS), and overdose prevention materials will be offered to all participants.

MEMORIAL ALTAR & ZEN GARDEN: Reflect and pay tribute to loved ones lost to overdose. Onsite grief counselors will be available for support.
