Henrico, Hanover, and Chesterfield Counties and the City of Richmond have all collaborated on a Regional Recovery Day to connect residents with services as well as to draw attention to issues concerning Substance Use Disorder.  Regional Recovery Day 2024 attracted approximately 750 residents to hear speakers on Addiction, a peer panel, to engage in AccuWellness and Naloxone training, and attend a resource fair with over 50 vendors.  

Regional Recovery Day 2025 looks to expand upon the event, with a nationally prominent speaker, a potentially larger vendor fair, and more educational options.  By moving the time of the event to the early evening, attendance is expected to increase.
