Region Recovery Riot - 2nd Annual

Join us  at our free event for all, to enjoy food, music, yoga, art, fun activities and to celebrate recovery resources in the region!                    "All paths of recovery welcome"

Our annual, September recovery month, event in Gary honors all pathways of recovery, and showcases local resources for all to enjoy, amid the Dunes and Lake Michigan.

We honor and treat those with lived experience, as experts in our fields and passions, working with others with lived experience. We believe in the power of the Northwest Indiana (NWI) region and have a special interest in Gary, with focused volunteer committees, dedicated to hosting life-changing and enriching events.  Our team of advocates, organically growing in membership, bring personal and professional expertise driven by pure compassion.  We invite everyone and all those at any stage of recovery or substance use to attend the Recovery Riot to feel safe, valued and respected.   

This year's 2023 Recovery theme is “Join the Voices for Recovery: Together We Are Stronger. As anyone in recovery knows, it takes support from many to face the challenges of finally getting sober.” drughelpline.org

WHY ? To save lives!

We strive to eradicate the stigmas and remove barriers for those on paths to recovery, challenging SUD and other crisis issues, lending help and support to aid in navigating the myriad of life events affecting friends, families and others focused on hope and healing.
