True Recovery RVA, The WAR Foundation are partnering with Mobilize Recovery and the James City Clean County Commission for a day of giving back to the community. This event combats stigma for the recovery community and those with substance use disorders in several ways. This event fosters a sense of community involvement and support, demonstrating that those in recovery are valued members of society capable of contributing positively. We are actively working to improve public spaces, negative stereotypes and showcase the potential for personal growth and transformation within the recovery community, helping to break down barriers and misconceptions surrounding substance use disorder.
