Day of Service benefiting the Blossom Center
Date & Time
Join us for the Mobolize Recovery 2023 Day of Service, benefiting Tennessee Overdose Prevention and You are Linked to Resources for Families of People Seeking Resources. These two nonprofit organizations provide memorials of honor to those who have died of overdoses and offer resources and vital information for families and individuals seeking recovery from substance use.
We will meet at First United Methodist Church, located at 1350 Oak Ridge Turnpike, at 9 a.m. on Saturday, September 30th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. During this time, we will create memorial Christmas decorations for families who have lost loved ones to overdose deaths. Additionally, we will enter important data into the websites of these organizations.
The National Day of Service is open to anyone in the community who wishes to honor those in recovery. This event is brought to you by First Recovery, a ministry of First United Methodist Church in Oak Ridge.
